Sean and his team did a great job with my home addition. They installed James Hardie siding to match the existing portion of my house. Sean was very easy to work with and made sure I was kept informed at all steps of the project. I highly recommend Siding Express for your project.

When it came time to reside our home, we chose Siding Express. This decision is a HUGE commitment, not just the cost, but picking the right professionals to perform the work. We accepted Siding Express to perform the work after a 2 month period of having 5 companies submit proposals to do the work. All these companies were St. Louis area based, at least 10 years in business, with excellent reputations. Should a need arise for warranty work to be performed, after the installation, we want to have a reliable, St Louis based company to contact. Siding Express has a very solid reputation for doing the installation correct the first time and backing their products and work with a lifetime warranty. What set Siding Express apart from the other proposals were several things: 1. Cost was the biggest priority because we were going with the James Hardie siding. It is a premium product with outstanding performance. We were leary of the cost after receiving a couple proposals prior to seeing the Siding Express proposal. Their pricing was outstanding compared to other proposals we received. These were apple to apple comparisons. Siding Express runs a lean, efficient operation. The cost savings was IMPRESSIVE! 2. The sales person, Larry, was very knowledgeable about the products we were interested in. He explained the pros and cons of the siding product that interested us for the project. He took the time to listen and formulated a projected scope plan based on our vision. The "visual" scope plan was emailed to us and we could see what the finished work would look like with annotations. We actually modified the plan after seeing the "finished" project and he graciously reworked the plan and sent it to us. 3. Larry did not push to perform work we did not want or need. Example: The aluminum fascia, soffit, and gutters are in good shape after 20 years. Just needs cleaning and some paint to refresh the appearance. These were things I could do because they are in my wheelhouse. Once their proposal was accepted, we knew it would take a couple months a have the work scheduled. All the companies we had chosen to receive a proposal from had a project waiting list. We accepted this situation. The St. Louis companies with strong reputations all have a waiting list. Larry notified us about 2 weeks prior to an install date and we were able to agree on the start date. He followed up with us several days before to be sure the date was still acceptable. The installation crew was supervised by Damian. I would ask specifically for him and his crew to work on your project, just because I saw personally they are a great crew. The crew was very reliable, always arriving at 7 a.m. They were respectful of my property, cleaning up as they removed the old siding, placing the debris in a dumpster placed on site. As the new material was being installed, they managed the waste to keep the area safe. At the end of each day, they would place their equipment in an area I had designated. They always asked if everything was ok before leaving at the end of the day. This project lasted 5 days. It was blistering hot! I appreciate how hard they worked in this oppressive heat! The crew is very knowledgeable installing the James Hardie siding. Of note, Siding Express is an ELITE PREFFERED installer listed on the James Hardie website. This is quite an accomplishment! Watching this crew work and their attention to detail was impressive. Whenever I had a question, Damian or a crew member would be sure to address it. I only have compliments for the finished product. Siding Express did a full replacement of our siding earlier this year. We’re so pleased with their work (and price), that I’m writing a long review in their honor. We knew from the start that we would install James Hardie (JH) siding, so I researched contractors in our area (Wildwood, MO) that were identified as “Elite” by JH. Three contractors had received that Elite designation. We solicited bids from all three. I won’t dishonor Siding Express’s competitors by identifying them by name, but will just use #1 and #2 as placeholders. All three contractors went about the estimating process similarly, visiting our house, bragging a little about their experience, and taking measurements of the house. Our house has about 4,000 square feet of living space, with a partial walkout basement. And it’s all siding, no brick façade.So, we were braced for hefty proposals. Company #1 got back to us in 10 days to two weeks. We were shocked by their price and just figured it would be an outlier. Company #2 got back to us a week later. Their price was nearly the same as #1. I wondered if the two had compared notes and decided to offer the same price. Siding Express submitted the last bid of the three Elite contractors. To our great surprise, Siding Express’s proposal was lower, MUCH lower. We’re talking “let’s remodel the master bathroom” lower. My glee soon turned to skepticism. What if they measured the house incorrectly? Would we be hit with change orders? Are their installers shoddy? What am I missing? So, my wife and I drove by a dozen or so houses which had been re-sided (using JH) by Siding Express. Those houses looked great. I read the reviews of dozens of Siding Express customers. Their quality was consistently excellent. Finally, I called the owner of company #1. I told him the price disparity, asking if this was normal. At first, he politely questioned whether I was giving him a real number. Then he started commenting negatively on the quality of Siding Express’s installers compared to his installers, but could not provide an example of a job gone bad, or a house #1 had to “correct” after being botched by Siding Express. That fellow would call me back a week or so later, questioning the legitimacy of the bid again and, finally, saying “no one could install Hardie for that price” or words to that effect. Well, Siding Express DID re-side our house for that price, and it looks fantastic. The workers were fantastic from top to bottom. Our Salesman, Larry, checked in frequently to make sure we were pleased. The job supervisor, Damian, was a daily visitor even though he was overseeing a few other projects. These weren’t fly-by visits, either. Damian was “on the job” when here. And the crew? They were efficient, hard-working, conscientious and athletic. They paid attention to details, like caulking, which is really important on a siding project. At salesman Larry’s request, my wife and I developed a punch list once the project was nearly complete. Damian and another craftsman came out to complete each punch list item. One of them was odd and unexpected. Removal of our old siding had exposed two fist-sized holes near the top of the foundation. Damian and his buddy purchased and installed cement filler material - very professionally done. No extra charge. Every aspect of our re-siding project was done to our complete satisfaction: Price, Quality, Timeliness & Communication. You can trust the Siding Express people.

I got in touch with Jamie about siding on my house, and before I knew it he was out and giving me a very reasonable quote. They did a great job of tearing off my old siding and before I knew it I had beautiful new composite siding up on my house. It was amazing in a few short days to see my house turn from dingy and worn to beautiful and practically brand new!

Our Kirkwood ranch had a combination of wood siding on the top half and brick on the lower half. The eaves were all vinyl. The trim was wood. The wood was showing its age and it needed another paint job. Repairs and paint. Instead we called Siding Express for Hardie board to replace the siding and the eaves. Looks beautiful.

I did a major overhaul on my home's exterior and Siding Express handled the entire thing with excellence. Not only did they replace all of my vinyl siding with Hardie product, they also did a lower portion of stone that completely upgraded my home and now, others in the neighborhood are following suit. I am a really particular artist client and craftsmanship was key to me. Like...I'm the client that created photoshop mockups of exactly the way I wanted things to look. I also went outside the box and the norm with a LOT of requests and they were careful to execute my exact vision at every turn. They really handled it all with superior customer service and I could not be more pleased with my results! My job incorporated some interior demolition and exterior finishing, replacing old, rotted out wood parts where unexpected water damage had occurred outside of the visible scope, multiple custom requests like adding keystones above windows and ripping trim pieces to widths that are out of the ordinary. The bottom line? They literally crushed it. Just look at these pictures!

The workmanship done by Siding Express was excellent and communication was great. I highly recommend and would use them again.

Siding Express was easy to work with and understood what my project was about. I basically had an easy vinyl replacement job, but the front of the house had some 1969 design details that needed to be addressed and working with our experience installer he adjusted what was needed to make it work and made it look way better. Larry our design consultant was understanding and easy to work with. If required i would consider them again for future projects.

We changed our siding to James Hardie. The work was done efficiently with good quality and Larry was very professional.

Overall, working with Siding Express was a good experience. As with any large siding replacement project, there were a few punch list items that existed; however, Siding Express did follow up with all of the items and completed them satisfactorily. There was always a Siding Express representative that could be contacted for questions or to express concerns, both during the project and upon completion of the project. I bid my project to three contractors, and Siding Express did have the low bid. We are very satisfied with the finished product.
